Ilkeston’s biggest employer Belfield Furnishings, part of the The Belfield Group have renewed as Ilkeston RUFC Main sponsor for the 2019/20 season. The Belfield Group Logo will feature “front of shirt” on both the home and away shirts of the first team, which this year harks back to the 1980’s featuring a skyline of the Stanton Ironworks – New Works site, which is situated behind the clubs base “The Stute”, the former Stanton and Staveley Iron Works Sports and Social Club.

Club Chairman Andy Evans said “ Ilkeston RUFC are extremely pleased to again announce that The Belfield Group are backing local rugby in Ilkeston, this is the XX year that Belfield have supported the club, their ongoing support allows the club to offer sporting opportunities for local people from our under-6 side through to our First team. This year as part of the deal Belfield Group employees and their families will be able to enjoy free entry to all Ilkeston RUFC home games during the 2019/20 by simply presenting a current payslip or works id card to gate staff. We look forward to welcoming Belfield Group employees down to the Stute on matchdays, to soak up the atmosphere and cheer on their truly local rugby side.”
